Create a Kasapay account

What you need

• An Android phone or iPhone with the Kasapay app (Play Store / App Store).
• An active mobile number: it becomes your Kasapay identifier and receives your security codes.
• An email address (recommended) for account recovery.

Sign-up steps

1. Open the app and tap Create account.
2. Enter your phone number. A verification code (OTP) is sent by SMS or WhatsApp.
3. Type the code, then complete your profile (first name, last name, date of birth).
4. Choose a strong password: at least 8 characters with upper and lower case, digits and a symbol.
5. Set your 4-digit operational PIN. It confirms every money operation — never share it.

After signing up

Your wallet is created with a USD account and a CDF account. To deposit, send or withdraw beyond the basic amounts, verify your identity: see Verify your identity (KYC).

Kasapay will never ask for your password, PIN or an OTP code by phone or message.
